Travelodge by Wyndham Kenora

Our organization hosted a conference for 50 people at the Travelodge Kenora and had an excellent experience! We were planning the conference from out of town and the manager Mostafa Bissal was immensely helpful! He was quick to respond to our emails and answer our questions. On the day of the conference, everything ran very smoothly. One participant even commented that she had never seen technology run so smoothly at a conference (we had multiple presenters with slide decks on different devices). The food was tasty, served on time, and there was a good amount. The price was very reasonable. The support staff who helped with cleaning, cooking, and serving were also excellent. We are very grateful to Travelodge Kenora for helping make our event a big success!

This was a wonderful stay. Our request for a 1st floor room was granted. The bathroom is small but adequate. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Some noises could be heard from the room above us on 2nd floor but wasn't too disturbing. The hallways outside of the room are somewhat narrow if you have large bags. The price was so so as I think $100.00 plus per night is too much to spend but that is the rate. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you are expecting high end quality for the price. It was just fine for us. Hope you will have as pleasant a stay as we did.

Room was clean and staff professional. No one in restaurant. Obvious reasons.

My stay in Travelodge Kenora was reasonable. I found the room to be fairly clean and comfortable as a room should be. The customer service was kindly able to assist me with my special room requests as best as they could. With that said, the price for 1 night on a random Monday night in January was rather disappointingly high despite having few services to offer. The indoor pool was closed for repair and instead of a continental breakfast, they encouraged paying for food at their hotel restaurant. For nearly $200 per night in a small town like Kenora, I would expect more than a simple clean room.

Not the best place I've ever stayed. But for the price, not a bad place. I read the reviews and didn't run into any of those issues, fortunately. The bed and pillows were comfy. The shower water pressure was alright but the water was super hot! The lighting around the room was dim but that wasn't much of an issue. My only issue was that the room wasn't very soundproof. I could hear every door closing. the chatter in the hallways was super loud. I could even hear the car doors closing outside. I'd come back to this place if I had to again. But it wouldn't be my first choice.

Affordable and homely. Look out for an angel named Terry. She’s usually at the reception in the mornings. Terry made our stay memorable. Kenora was our last minute pick after we couldn’t get accommodation in Gimli. She told us where to visit each day. We had a great vacation!

Wow I’m glad I read the reviews after I stayed lol. I thought the room was great! Staff was very friendly! Reasonably priced, the pillows ARE amazing. Restaurant and pool currently closed, and the walls are a bit thin. Other than that no complaints, I’d stay here again.

I was super impressed with the easy check in when we stopped last minute on our road trip. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, so I was super happy. But then, my daughter forgot her laptop and the staff went above and beyond to contact me and work out how to return it. Every interaction with every staff member was lovely. Thank you all for being so kind and helpful.
